The Works of Tina Jalalian

Second Saturday Reception, September 11, 5 to 9pm

Rose by Tina Jalalian
Our featured artist this month is Tina Jalalian with oil paintings that reflect her impressions of the unique atmosphere and natural beauty of California. Tina says that "it is the beauty of a single rose or a single cluster of grapes bathed in California light that inspires me to paint." Her use of rich colors enhances each subject of her paintings that include roses from local gardens and grapes from nearby vineyards. She may use all the colors of the rainbow in some paintings, and then choose a more limited selection of colors to bring the essence of the subject to life, as in her painting of a solitary pear. The other artists in our gallery will be presenting their original interpretations of a variety of landscapes along with still lifes, portraits, and wildlife scenes. River, lakes, sunsets, and amazing cloud formations will be included in the wide collection of their work. You can also view our note cards made from original paintings along with a variety of prints and giclees. Our jewelry display features lovely handmade silver earrings and necklaces created by Patricia Williams.
